On October 15, Professor Angelita of Universidade Federal de Goias visited our university. Jiang Jianming, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hebei Medical University, Wu Yuming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hebei Medical University, and the heads of relevant departments and units had exchanges and discussions with the visiting guests.

At the meeting, Jiang Jianming, on behalf of our university, warmly welcomed President Angelita and her group, and introduced the overall situation of Hebei Medical University and the progress made in international university management. He highly praised the efforts made by the Universidade Federal de Goias in talent training and the promotion of traditional Chinese medicine culture, and looked forward to the future cooperation between the two universities in the fields of teacher-student visit projects and scientific research. He hopes that this visit will become a new beginning for all-round cooperation between two universities and jointly open a new chapter of friendly communication between the two alumni.

President Angelita said that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil, as well as the 25th anniversary of the establishment of friendly provincial-state relations between Hebei Province and Goias Oblast. She hopes to take this opportunity to strengthen cooperation with Hebei Medical University in the field of medical and health, and jointly promote the further development of bilateral relations.

During the talks, the two sides had an in-depth discussion on the cooperation between two universities in the fields of dentistry and nursing. During the visit, the delegation visited the History Museum of Hebei Medical University and had a discussion with the relevant principals in the Third Hospital and the Dental Hospital.
